Stack and Whack is the name for a method of stacking 8 repeats of a pattern in the fabric and cutting out diamond shapes in order make a kaleidoscope star.  The first class will cover how to choose the fabric, with subsequent instructions covering how to lay it out, cut it, and how to assemble the stars along with adding sashing to make the completed quilt top. A copy of the book Magic Stack-n-Whack Quilts by Bethany S. Reynolds is required (available at Pieceful Seams) and a ¼” foot for your machine.
